The Rose Ball 2025 Celebrates 75 Years

Honorees and guests at the 75th Annual Rose Ball at Oheka Castle

On June 12, the AHRC Foundation welcomed supporters, partners, and community leaders to its 75th Annual Rose Ball at Oheka Castle — a milestone evening that honored leadership, celebrated partnership, and raised over $340,000 for programs and services benefiting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Long Island.

Seventy-Five Years of Purpose

For seven decades, the Rose Ball has brought the community together around a single goal: making sure children and adults with developmental disabilities have the resources and support they need. Working alongside partners including AHRC Nassau, Brookville Center for Children's Services, and Citizens Options Unlimited, the Foundation turns each year's generosity into tangible impact.

Honoring Leadership

Tom Rosicki, President of the AHRC Foundation Board of Directors, served as Master of Ceremonies. The Foundation presented its 2025 Leadership Award to Joshua Lamberg, Founder and CEO of Lamb Insurance Services, a firm specializing in insurance solutions for nonprofit organizations nationwide.

An Inaugural Cornerstone Award

The evening also marked the presentation of the Foundation's first-ever Cornerstone Award, given to the Long Island Wine & Liquor Sales Club in recognition of roughly 80 years of charitable work and more than 25 years of partnership with the AHRC Foundation. The Club's annual golf outing now raises more than $100,000 each year, funding communication devices, iPads, sensory equipment, and community recreation opportunities.
