Welcome to Nassau County AHRC FOUNDATION

The Nassau County AHRC Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to publicly solicit and receive funds for the benefit of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Thousands of children and adults benefit from the Foundation's support to organizations such as AHRC Nassau, Brookville Center for Children's Services, Citizens, Inc., Advantage Care Diagnostic Treatment Center and other community-based organizations serving those with special needs.

Rose Ball Kick Off Celebration

Ned J. Giordano Foundation Funds TV Studio
Thanks to the generosity of the Ned J. Giordano Foundation, the Brookville Center for Children’s Services will have its own television studio, complete with portable audio-video recording and broadcasting equipment. Read more


Local Students Fund iPads for Autism
Inspired to take action by a 60 Minutes segment “Apps for Autism: Communicating on the iPad,” two seventh grade students, Cole Barnard and Peter Schueler, mobilized a team effort to raise funds to help their peers with autism. Read more
